Thredbo Resort are set for a white winter weekend opening as snow continues to blanket the mountain and village.

Snow started falling on Tuesday afternoon and will continue until at least Friday, with snow showers during the weekend.

As the resort gear up for their opening this June long weekend, skiers and snowboarders will be delighted to see snow bucketing down on Wednesday morning and the whole resort resembling a winter wonderland.

With extensive entertainment planned for the weekend, plus what shapes up as great snow conditions, it will be powder turns the Thredbo faithful will be seeking.
