Thredbo weather and snow report

Bureau of Meteorology Synopsis

Weather Situation

A high pressure system lies over the Tasman Sea, while a trough stretches from central Australia through western New South Wales. Warm and humid air feeding into this trough will lead to unsettled weather in many central and eastern districts over the next day or two. Little change is expected over the coming days as the Tasman high remains dominant, preventing cold fronts from affecting the region. This will result in hot conditions extending eastwards through the state, with heatwave conditions escalating over the coming days.
