Weather Situation

A low pressure system is moving over the Tasman Sea, while high extends into New South Wales from the west. This high is expected to drift across the coast on Wednesday, stalling and strengthening as it reaches the Tasman Sea. A new low is forecast to develop over the state's west at the end of the week, and may affect coastal areas later on the weekend.

Snow Conditions

Windblown pow stashes GALORE today… plenty of fun in the pow on and off piste up high.

The middle and lower slopes dry and firm.

Friday Flat softened a bit under the sunshine.

Snow Riding

The Bluff was a powder wonderland today! There was lots of exploring the drift and windblown stashes up high.

A bit of spraying pow at the Cruiser area, otherwise there was loads of craving down Supertrail and High Noon.

Low vis at the top of the mountain didn’t stop those from heading up to Antons and Karels to shred.

Groomed Runs

All major runs scheduled for grooming tonight.

Lifts Operating

Karels T Bar and Basin T Bar on visibility hold for the rest of today.

Road Conditions

Road open to Thredbo.

Beyond Thredbo: Snow and ice on road from the Cascades to the Wattles, chains may be required.
