A high pressure system near the New South Wales coast is forecast to slowly drift over the Tasman Sea over the coming days, maintaining a ridge across the state. This ridge will be the dominating feature over much of the new week, apart from a cold front that is forecast to skim to the south of the state today. Then a stronger front looks set to cross the southern half of the state towards the end of this week.
Thredbo is Australia’s best ski resort and boasts a huge amount of snow terrain for all abilities and ages. With the longest vertical of all Australian resorts and the five longest runs in Australia, Thredbo is renowned for its terrain.
