A slow-moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea will promote the build up of heat over inland New South Wales, leading to heatwave conditions for many districts over the coming days. A trough associated with a cold front is forecast to slowly move across western and southern districts during Thursday and Friday but stall and weaken before reaching the northeast on Friday afternoon.
Thredbo is Australia’s best ski resort and boasts a huge amount of snow terrain for all abilities and ages. With the longest vertical of all Australian resorts and the five longest runs in Australia, Thredbo is renowned for its terrain.
