It will remain smokey as wind blows smoke from all areas.
7.45pm Jindabyne – The Gullies Rd fire at Ingebirah that has appeared on Fire Near Me has been investigated and seems to be smoke from southern fires. We will make absolutely certain, but at this stage we are pretty sure all is ok.

Check Live Traffic, some roads across the region have opened including Snowy Mountains Highway from Cooma to Tumut.
28,000 hectares in size. It adjoins the Dunns Road fire to the west. Out of control.
Multiple fires are burning to the north of Adaminaby in the Bugtown area.
Fire is threatening to cross the Yaouk and Bobeyan Roads.
Active fire still exists across many parts of the fireground and is not contained.

If you are in the areas of Adaminaby, Providence Portal, Anglers Reach, Old Adaminaby, Rocky Plain, Eucumbene Cove and surrounding areas – Monitor conditions

Snowy Complex Fire (formerly W-Tree)
No immediate level of danger for the Delegate community, but fires are burning 25km south, south west of Delegate in Victoria.
Good Good Fire
31,000 hectares out of control and causing lots of smoke. Still active fire edges and fire spotting.
97,000 litres of fire retardant have been dropped over the Good Good fire ground this afternoon by a fleet of aircraft including the DC-10 VLAT (Very Large Air-Tanker), 2x737s, one Hercules and one RJ.
Properties in the Numeralla area may still come under threat. If you are in the area of Numeralla – Residents who plan to leave are advised to leave now. If you are in the area of Peak View, Jerangle, Countegany and Badja – Monitor conditions
3,000 hectares in size and is out of control.
Conditions have eased. If you are in the areas of Thredbo Village, Little Thredbo, Bullocks Flat, Crackenback and surrounds, there is a reduced threat.
Snowy Valleys Area
331268 hectares out of control
Still active fire. The fire continues to burn in the area south of the Hume Highway in the areas of Mount Adrah, Tumblong, Grahamstown and Adelong. People in the area of Gundagai and Goobarraganda should be alert to smoke and embers. Goobragandra Valley and Brindebella areas, monitor conditions
The fire is burning towards the areas of Ournie, Mannus and Tumbarumba, monitor conditions.
Talbingo, Wondalga, Kunama, Batlow and surrounding areas, fire has passed through this area.
Green Valley, Talmalmo
233,000 hectares in size and is being controlled.
Telecommunication outages in the area may result in the inability to contact Triple Zero, receive emergency alert telephone messages or access the internet.
Fire is burning to the east and north of Jingellic.
The fire is impacting on the area around Lankeys Creek. If you are in this area, enact your bush fire survival plan.

Riverina RFS Updates
Favourable conditions expected for the next week will assist with firefighting efforts. Community members are urged to watch conditions and fire updates. Personal safety should be priority. Here are some updates for towns in the Snowy Valley LGA.
Firefighters are focused on containing fire activity to the south of the township in the Mt. Garland area. There will be smoke from backburning in this area over the next two days. These backburns will be monitored and supported by aircraft.
Electricity is intermittent and there is no potable water. The pharmacy and hospital are closed. Stay away from the town until this fire activity is controlled and it is deemed safe.
There is still some active fire in the Ellerslie area, though it is not expected to break containment lines. There will be a number of trucks in the area this week as crews work to directly attack active fire and black out fire across the remainder of the fireground.
Residents should only be in the area if they need to be there.
The fire threat has passed. Power has been restored, but there is no potable water. Building impact assessments will start tomorrow. There are asbestos concerns and trees that need to be removed for safety.
Stay away from the town until it is deemed safe.
