This is a story we have running our upcoming July edition.

Snowy Monaro Regional Council have clamped down on camping by the Lake Jindabyne Foreshore in particular, and also introduced some alcohol laws that restrict and prohibit drinking in certain areas at certain times across the region.

It is unfortunate in some ways that they have to do this, but as always it is the actions of the minority that ruin it for everyone else.

Personally I think it is a good thing after the state that some people left the Lake Jindabyne Foreshore in last winter.

The penalty for stopping in the ‘No Stopping Areas’ is $257 per infringement.
